While all of my family and friends are enjoying the holiday, drinking, partying, and being merry, I’m at home trying to get a good night’s rest in because I have to be at work tomorrow morning at 4AM. #MNS

I found out tonight that I am scheduled to work during the scheduled time of two of my final exams. My boss says we are too busy for me to take off and there is no way my professors will let me reschedule. It’s either fail or get fired. #MNS
Since I’m turning 21 on a Saturday this month, I asked my manager for the night off last month. She gave me the okay, so I made all kinds of awesome bday plans. I just got my schedule for the month. Not only do I work that day, but I’m closing. My manager claims to not recall talking to me about taking the day off and won’t switch the schedule. #MNS
